Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ATS Perfect website and resume-building service ("Service") operated by ATS Perfect ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
ATS Perfect provides tools to build, edit, and optimize resumes, including AI-assisted content generation and templates designed to be compatible with Applicant Tracking Systems. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Subscriptions, Trials & Billing
- Free trial — we may offer a free trial. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the then-current price.
- Plans — paid plans (monthly and yearly) are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe.
- Auto-renewal — subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Cancellation — you may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Money-back guarantee — first-time subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of their initial paid charge by contacting support@atsperfect.com. After 14 days, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Price changes — we may change prices with reasonable advance notice; changes do not affect the current paid period.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Submit false information or impersonate another person.
- Attempt to bypass payment, access controls, rate limits, or security measures.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.
- Upload malicious code or content that infringes others' rights.
5. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses AI to help generate resume content. AI output may contain inaccuracies and is provided as a starting point only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before using it. We do not guarantee job interviews, offers, or any particular outcome.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of the information and resumes you create. You grant us a limited licence to process and store your content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you submit.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, templates, software, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or redistribute it except as allowed by these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or employment opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
