• Account information — your email address when you sign up, or your Google account details if you use Google sign-in.
• Resume content — the information you enter to build your resume, such as your name, contact details, work history, education, skills, and certifications.
• Payment information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
• Communications — messages you send us, for example through our contact form or support email.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data — via analytics tools, including pages visited, approximate location, browser type, and similar diagnostic data.
• Local storage — guest resume drafts are temporarily saved in your browser's local storage so your work isn't lost; this data stays on your device and expires automatically.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the resume-building Service.
• To generate AI-assisted resume content based on the details you submit.
• To process subscriptions, payments, and free trials.
• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To respond to your questions and provide support.
• To understand usage and improve the Service.
• To send service-related emails (such as payment confirmations). We will only send marketing emails with your consent where required by law.

3. AI-Generated Content

To create resume summaries, skills, and bullet points, the content you submit is sent to our third-party AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. We send only what is needed to generate your requested content. Please avoid entering highly sensitive information you would not want processed by an AI service.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted providers who process data on our behalf:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database storage, and analytics.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Anthropic — AI content generation.

Each provider maintains its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, to keep you signed in, and for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly if you disable them.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account and resume data for as long as your account is active. Guest drafts stored in your browser expire automatically. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. If you are in Canada, you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada with concerns.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and managed authentication to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
